Costa Rica

The folks at Rivers and Oceans are great. Helped us find and book a trip and patiently answered many questions over the weeks preceding the trip. Thank you.

Costa Rica was named for its “rich coast”, but the whole country is a wealth of beauty, diversity, and national parks. The country’s protected areas make up around 23% of Costa Rica and are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, estimated to contain 5% of the world’s biodiversity. Like its name suggests, the country also has plenty of world renowned beaches, both in the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, making this the ultimate destination for anyone interested in a tropical get away.

Many people know Panamá for its famous  canal that bridges the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, but what is often overlooked is its stunning beaches, beautiful cities, and lush rainforests. With its tropical climate, there is never a bad season to visit, making this a wonderful trip year-round! There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure including surfing, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and bird watching.
