Soaked!!!

It’s not that you may get wet, you WILL get soaked! Wear clothing that dries quickly and in layers.

Horrible Motors

May 5, 2022

The boat motor had problems starting and running and because of that we couldn’t stop and get out for lunch like I was told! It stalled three times and one time a customer had to start it. Had to be toed for a bit until someone from another boat got it started. The whole thing was too much money for what I received!

Response from Rivers & Oceans

August 2022 Update: The new motors appear to have rectified this problem (see original reply below).

We are sorry to hear there were problems on your trip with motors. That is unbelievable that a customer had to start the engine. The issues you discuss are serious and we have passed them along to the Hualapai River Runners management in order for them to provide a better experience moving forward.

The Hualapai River Runners have been trying to avoid canceling anyone’s trip while they work through supply issues to upgrade their motors. As of 5/17/2022 we’ve been told they have started integrating their new motors into the fleet as they fit and prep them for running whitewater.

Tour guides were THE BEST!

The whole trip was an adventure we will never forgot!

September 19, 2021

Our guide was wonderful, knowledgeable about the river, rapids and the canyon. Cannot describe how exciting and fun going through the rapids was, the astonishing views of the canyon, the wonderful feeling of getting in the water. Just spectacular the entire time!

Highlight of our entire week long trip to the west

September 12, 2021

Our guide, Isiah Thomas, was awesome – we were told about him from some previous rafters. All of the guides were great but ask for him if you can. He is very liberal with snacks and treats his passengers with great hospitality.
