Amazing trip!
We had an incredible experience due to our excellent guides. Our guides were knowledgeable with excellent leadership skills. We experienced a shift in the weather, but our guide TJ and his crew keep us all safe. I was nervous, but not scared, we were informed of the weather’s patterns. Our guides were knowledgeable, and experienced. They genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. My guide had the ability to read the water, he made a quick decision to rearranged a few of us to properly balanced the draft and to provide us a safe passage through the rapids. Our guides worked as a team. They made my trip memorable and amazing. THANK YOU, loved the experience! I will always remember this amazing trip. Also, the views were incredible.
Wonderful Experience
It is sooo worth it!
This trip made our vacation! We got to go river rafting in the grand canyon! How many people get to say that? It was soo much fun! Our guide put our needs first and made sure to give us such a blast! Lunch was great and well thought out! Do not hesitate to do this!
Soaked!!!
It’s not that you may get wet, you WILL get soaked! Wear clothing that dries quickly and in layers.
Horrible Motors
The boat motor had problems starting and running and because of that we couldn’t stop and get out for lunch like I was told! It stalled three times and one time a customer had to start it. Had to be toed for a bit until someone from another boat got it started. The whole thing was too much money for what I received!

August 2022 Update: The new motors appear to have rectified this problem (see original reply below).
We are sorry to hear there were problems on your trip with motors. That is unbelievable that a customer had to start the engine. The issues you discuss are serious and we have passed them along to the Hualapai River Runners management in order for them to provide a better experience moving forward.
The Hualapai River Runners have been trying to avoid canceling anyone’s trip while they work through supply issues to upgrade their motors. As of 5/17/2022 we’ve been told they have started integrating their new motors into the fleet as they fit and prep them for running whitewater.
