Idaho

Idaho, the "whitewater state," has earned it reputation for a reason. There are numerous free flowing rivers with high quality rapids, pristine water quality, and outstanding fishing. However, floating through the vast tracks of wilderness is what makes Idaho rafting so unforgettable. Each river in Idaho has its own character, offering a variety of water adventure experiences for people of all ages.

The best family rafting trip is the Salmon River in July and August with beautiful sandy beaches, warm weather and fun class III whitewater. Those looking for a step up in whitewater will want to check out the Middle Fork Salmon and Selway Rivers. Breathtaking scenery, exhilarating rapids, amazing meals, relaxing hot springs and the simple pleasure of listening to stories told around a campfire leave a lasting impression in the heart’s of those who venture out into this wild country.
